Benoxacor is a herbicide safener used with metalochlor. It has a moderate aqueous solubility, is quite volatile and, based on its chemical properties, has a high potential for leaching to groundwater. It is moderately persistent in soil systems but tends not to persist in water. It has a low mammalian toxicity and a high potential for bioaccumulation. It is moderately toxic to birds, honeybees, earthworms and most aquatic organisms. |
