Butonate is a largely obsolete insecticide that was used to control flying insects. It is moderately soluble in water. It is moderately toxic to birds and fish but highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates. It is also moderately toxic to mammals if ingested as well as being an acetyl cholinestrase inhibitor and neurotoxin. |
