Dimepiperate is a rice herbicide that has a safening effect in rice especially against sulfonylurea herbicides. It has a moderate aqueous solubility and a low volatility. It is not expected to be persistent in soil systems, nor is it expected to leach to groundwaters. Dimepiperate is moderately toxic to fish but is less toxic to birds. it is moderately toxic to mammals if ingested and is an irritant. |
