Allyl alcohol is a herbicide that is not generally approved for use in the developed world. It is highly toxic to mammals and is a known skin, eye and inhalation irritant. It is miscible with water and many organic solvents and is semi-volatile. It is not thought to be persistent in soil. There is little published data for allyl alcohol related to ecotoxicology. |
