SUMMARY
Zineb is a protectant fungicide. It has a low aqueous solubility, is relatively volatile and is not expected, based on its physico-chemical properties, to leach to groundwater. It is not usually persistent in soil or water systems. Zineb has a low mammalian toxicity, however, it may cause adverse reproduction/developmental effects if ingested. It is moderately toxic to most fauna and flora.
